Medications & FDA status

• Brand-name semaglutide (Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (Zepbound®) are FDA-approved for chronic weight management in eligible adults.
• Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality. If your provider prescribes a compounded medication, you will be told before you start.
• Phentermine is FDA-approved for short-term use and is a controlled substance.
• Topical minoxidil is FDA-approved for hair loss. Low-dose oral minoxidil is prescribed off-label by providers when appropriate.
• Kybella® is FDA-approved only for fat under the chin. Other uses and compounded fat-dissolving formulas are not FDA-approved.
• Our cryolipolysis treatments use an FDA-cleared device.
• NAD+, glutathione, wellness peptides, and vitamin injections are offered as wellness support and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
